On May 1, 2010, I became an approved clinical supervisor for the Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists.
I have completed three progressive degrees in counseling (MS in Counseling Psychology (Troy), EdS in Professional School Counseling (UGA) and EdD in Counselor Education and Supervision (Argosy)), taken two graduate courses in Clinical Supervision and attended several workshops on this topic.
In addition to providing clinical supervision in private practice, I provided this service to students enrolled in their practicum and/or internship course for Argosy University/Sarasota's Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CACREP) and Marriage and Family Therapy Master of Arts degree programs as well as served as a site supervisor for Walden University's graduate programs in counseling.
Currently, I offer clinical supervision to those desiring licensure in Georgia as a Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker or Marriage Family Therapist via video conferencing hosted by Zoom.
To ensure that supervisees receive at least 30 hours of supervision per year, group and/or individual sessions are scheduled for three (3) hours per month and delivered via two 90-minute sessions. Additional sessions may be scheduled when desired.
Group supervision is held on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month from 7:45 pm - 9:15 pm.
Please note: If only one person attends group, it is considered an individual session.
Below you will find the required paperwork each supervisee must review before beginning supervision, and a link to Zoom.
Thanks,
Dr. Fulani A. Doughty, LPC, NCC, CRC, ICAADC, ACS
